My wife took HER car in for an oil change. She was waiting for her car in the lobby, which her service tech was well aware of. Instead of telling her the car needed a new air filter and cabin filter they sent a text to me. They didn’t trust her to look at the filters and know that they were dirty??? Braden is an awesome service Technician he told me what Kia would cover and they did it at no cost to me! the new Engine was put in while I was given a loaner car during the time needed! Following an engine repair, they broke the engine splash shield and didn’t even reattach it on one corner. Despite being asked three times to make another warranty repair, they did not. Contacting them was very difficult as they didn’t pick up when called and only returned one call when they had my vehicle for two weeks. Very poor service.
Justin Bailey did a great job with helping me with my new car. He was very easy to work with let me drive a couple different SUV until I found the right one for me. I would highly recommend going to see Justin for your new car. What a great experience I had! The whole team is great at Germain Kia.
TLDR: I am considering trading in my used car purchase to another dealer and getting a different vehicle, especially if that means I never have to work with this dealership again.
As someone who made a multi thousand dollar purchase I would expect a certain level of customer service. I received the most low effort service when buying my used vehicle from Germain Kia. Bought a 2018 Honda Accord that past their multi point thorough inspection. The very next day the engine light came on and the car was acting funny. They reluctantly took it back and said it had a loose spark plug and bad coil and they fixed it. Well a few days later after getting it fixed it still was making noise and I had to bring it back in to see what was going on.

Such a great experience I had when i visited for key fob made and my recalls. The staff were very courteous and kept me updated on the progress. The service department was very personable and told very important information about safety issues if i didnt do the recall, and were very considerate. The waiting area is well equipped for a greater customer experience as well for the kids play area to keep the little one occupied.Keep up the great work.

Tyler is an awesome salesman. The vehicle that I was interested in was sold that morning I called, but Tyler helped locate a 2024 Kia Forte-GT Line for me in the Dayton area. We negotiated a fair price for the vehicle, and I drove back up to Columbus two days later to buy the vehicle. The entire staff at Germain Kia was attentive, easy to talk to, and with no pressure tactics. They made my first brand new vehicle purchase a memorable one.
Attentive, listened to what I wanted and didn’t push anything. My options came down to a new car and a slightly used car. I went with the used. I’m sure the salesman would have made more if I’d done with the new but he didn’t say a word to sway me towards the new.

Nice dealership and employees, nice lounge while you wait. Quick oil change. But I would like for someone to tell me how to fix the "coffee break" , take a break, sensor that goes off every half hour.
